How do I change my account properties?
Once you've already registered and logged in, changing your account properties is easy. To modify your name, profile, email address, and other options, follow these steps:
- Log in at YouOS.com.
- Once your desktop loads, click on the "Stuff" menu in the upper left-hand corner and go to "My Account" which is found below the list of applications.
- Your YouBrowser will open (if it is not already) and you will be asked to log in. Once you've entered your information, click "Log me in."
- Now you can see your current profile and make changes to it by clicking on the category tabs at the top. Here are some details on each one:
- Profile: Edit your name, location, and description
- Password: Create a new one
- Email Address: This is how YouOS will get a hold of you
- Mobile Number: If filled in, you can text message reminders to s@youos.com and they will be waiting for you on your desktop!
- Subscriptions: Click "Add a subscription" for both services and applications
- Log Out: This logs you out of Account Profile but not your YouOS desktop
- Be sure to save your information before logging out.
- Once you're finished changing your settings, leave YouBrowser open to access the web or close out of it.
