Here's how to register for an account of your own and start using YouOS to its full capacity. You'll be able to install applications, write documents, and even upload music using our file system. We'll cover all this a bit later. But for now, here's how to get yourself set up:

1. Go to YouOS.com.
2. Click on Get an Account at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the registration page.
3. Type in your desired username, email address, and a password for authentication. Please be sure to follow the instructions at the bottom of the page regarding username/password requirements.
4. For security purposes, type in the randomly generated characters appearing in the blue box, and click "Register."

5. If registration is successful, you should be taken to a screen saying as much (and a confirmation email will be sent to you for your records). Click the link to take you back to the login page.
6. Type in your username and password, and then click "Login."
7. This will take you to your own personal YouOS desktop. Yippee!
